Ergoplanning (hereinafter the “Developer”) has developed and implements an Information Security Management Protocol based on the requirements of the international standard ISO 27001: 2005. As the coordinator of the project, it has taken all necessary measures and developed all appropriate policies in order to be in full compliance with the requirements of the new European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to provide the highest possible level of protection for all.

The project participants wish that you, the visitors of the website, as well as the members of the research teams who maintain an account in order to monitor the developments of the project, are fully informed and in control of the personal data you share with us as well as of the processing performed.

The aim of this Policy is to provide you the necessary information, since you have the right to know which of your data we collect, how they are protected and used and under which circumstances your personal data might be disclosed. Additionally, the Policy describes your rights regarding your personal data, including your right to object to their processing by us.

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Statement, you will be notified either via email or via a notification on this website and you will be asked to provide your consent, where necessary.

This privacy policy describes how we use the personal information we collect or are provided by our website visitors. The said information include:

For the Users (members of the research teams): Name, Surname and e-mail address.

2. Why we collect your personal data

We use this information to enable members of research teams to monitor the progress of the project, to inform the other members about any progress they have made and to share files concerning the implementation of deliverables and work units.

TThe collection of this information is necessary in order to create user accounts and provide access to members of research teams. The process for creating a user account is the following: The developer (Ergoplanning) creates the account using the first name, last name and email address of the user. Once this step is completed, the research team member will receive a notification in their email to proceed with the change of password. The members of the research teams who have an account on the website (users) are solely responsible for the secure maintenance of their login details.

3. What is the retention time of data

The information provided by the members of research teams will be maintained until the completion of the project, in order to actively maintain the connection details of the accounts.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data

The data shared by the research members are not disclosed to third parties.

5. Personal Data Safety

Please be aware that website data is stored by us on a secure server protected by a password and SSL security certificates. Ergoplanning, as the project coordinator, implements policy and technical security measures aimed at ensuring, as much as possible, the security and integrity of all provided information.

6. Your Rights

According to the new Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regards to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data you have the right:

(a) Of access and information, i.e. to be informed by the Firm about which data have been collected, for which purpose they have been collected, how long they will be retained and to which recipients they might be transferred, especially with regard to recipients in third countries.

(b) To rectification, i.e. to rectification or completion of any missing or wrong information retained by the Firm in relation to you.

(c) To restriction of and to object to processing, i.e. to restrict and/or stop the processing of Personal Data, if you deem that the Personal Data collected and retained by the Firm are inaccurate or you no longer wish to receive information and promotional messages about the Firm’s services and products.

(d) To portability, i.e. to receive a copy of Personal Data kept by the Firm which concern you or to transfer them to another data controller on your behalf.

(e) To erasure, i.e. to erase the Personal Data concerning you, i.e. data and information kept by the Firm or to withdraw your consent to the retention and processing thereof by the Firm, according to the above, and of course, if your data are subject to illegal processing in violation of the GDPR.
